Pattern Inventory

What do we mean by “patterns”?

Patterns are recurring ways of responding to work demands.

In this inventory, they include creating structure, stepping in when something needs attention, seeing possibilities and questioning assumptions, adjusting to the people or situation around you, and using preparation, dependability or extra effort to protect trust.

These patterns are not thinking styles, personality types or descriptions of a diagnosis.

People with different divergent minds may rely on the same strategy for different reasons. The same person may also recognize several patterns depending on their role, project, environment or current demands.
